My Story
My name is Matthew J. Giardina. I am a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser, Ohio License 2017006364. I started my appraisal career in 2014 as a Registered Real Estate Appraiser Assistant. In April of 2017, I became a Licensed Residential Real Estate Appraiser, then upgraded to Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser in January of 2018.
What is an appraisal?
An appraisal is an independent, third-party opinion of value. What does that mean? Whether it is for settling an estate, divorce, or estate planning, it is the appraiser's duty to provide an opinion of value, supportable by facts and data, that is free from any bias of any kind.
When one purchases a property using bank financing, the lender will choose the appraiser with whom to engage.
